Connect your AI tools

Set up the connection without exposing your secrets.

What MCP connects

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets an AI client work with tools and information exposed by a server. In Beamvera, your connection controls which supported actions the client can request.

Use the supported Settings flow

  1. Sign in to your workspace and open Menu, then Settings, then AI Connections.
  2. Review the connection's environment and allowed actions before generating its configuration.
  3. Use that configuration only with your intended AI client, following that client's supported setup instructions.
  4. Confirm a successful permitted request from the current connection before treating it as connected.

Generating or copying configuration is not proof that your AI client has connected successfully. Look for evidence of successful current use.

Keep the configuration private

Generated configuration can contain credentials. Do not put it in a public repository, a screenshot, a shared document or a feedback message. Do not copy another user's connection into your account.

Separate research from execution

Read and research access does not automatically authorize trading. Review the actions available to the connection and the evidence required for each. An AI tool request remains subject to the same supported capability and permission checks.

If a connection stops working

Check the displayed environment and status, then use the supported account controls to revoke or replace a connection when needed. A revoked or replaced configuration should not be treated as current. Keep credentials out of troubleshooting messages.
